These
photograms are images inspired by patterns in nature that are intepreted
through drawing, filtered through light, and ultimately captured on photopaper.
The final artwork is a unique registration of the negative as developed
through time and varying exposures to light. The
positive from which the photogram is derived is an artistic mechanism
that combines the use of computer generated drawings, hand illustrations,
engraved acrylic sheet, and other layered materials of varying opacity
.
